Epic Games has just announced that they are releasing their full Unreal Engine 4 and its source code to everyone. For $19 a month anyone can use the engine to power their games.

Epic has done this before with their previous engines so it’s no surprise that they would also release Unreal Engine 4. This engine will be used by many of the big time developers this generation and it’s good that independent guys can use it as well.

Below you’ll find a video of Epic Games founder Tim Sweeny who talks a bit more about this announced. If you want to try your hand at game development, you can visit unrealengine.com to find out more.
