The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO) servers will soon be going down for scheduled maintenance on consoles today. During the downtime, you won't have access to any parts of the game.

According to an official tweet by Bethesda Support, all console mega-servers for The Elder Scrolls Online in North America and Europe will be going down today at 3 am PT/6 am ET/10 am UTC/11 am BST/12 pm CEST for 5 hours of maintenance. The servers are expected to get back online at 8 am PT/11 am ET/3 pm UTC/4 pm BST/5 pm CEST.

Keep in mind that the ESO server maintenance for today might be extended if the developers face any difficulties in the process of updating servers.

The Elder Scrolls Online received its new expansion, High Isle, a few months earlier, delivering a brand new region for players to explore as well as new characters to meet, new quests to complete, and even new mini-games to have fun with.

High Isle is the first part of a new saga in The Elder Scrolls Online. The expansion's story is supposed to be extended by two additional expansions to complete the Legacy of the Bretons saga. So far, players have been happy with the new content in the High Isle expansion, but it is yet to be seen how the game will evolve in the future and if there would be any new limited-time events in this new region or not.

Bethesda recently made it clear that they will continue working on The Elder Scrolls Online and they still have plans to expand the experience by delivering new content. Regarding the fact that The Elder Scrolls 6 is still very early in development and probably years away from launch, The Elder Scrolls Online will still be the only choice for the fans of the series, unless you go back to Skyrim for a new run.

Bethesda is currently fully focused on Starfield and RedFall as its biggest launches for 2023. As long as the work on the Starfield goes on, the core team at Bethesda Softworks will not be starting the full production on The Elder Scrolls 6.
