ESRB Gets All Censor-e On DOA: Dimensions Box Art

One of the merits of the long running and well loved Dead or Alive series is its eye catching bevy of young, attractive, scantily clad and beautifully rendered female characters. Of course, this doesn’t affect the airtight fighting engine. That’s why a cover that shows of just a little – and I mean a little – skin is to be expected for a DOA release.

Unfortunately, the ESRB has reared its ugly head (once again) to censor a harmless inner thigh. You know, the ESRB is pretty much known for its overreactions to female nudity and there is no better example than this. What is wrong with the people over there? You folks never seen a woman’s leg? Anyway, DOA: Dimensions will hit the 3DS, complete with its modified cover art, on May 25th.
