Today Atlus released a brand new batch of screenshots of the upcoming dungeon-crawling JRPG Etrian Odyssey X, which will mark the sunset of the beloved series on 3DS.

We get to see the new Hero class in action, and his force boost named Braveheart, his force break Miracle Edge, and his skill Resistance Brave. One of the screenshots shows the novice-level skill tree.

When heroes attack they have a chance to leave an afterimage, which lasts one turn. Not only those act as decoys, but they can be used in combination with various skills.

We also get to see six of the game’s over twenty NPCs: Marco, Oliver, Rob, Caris, Leo, and Brigitta. Last, but not least, the screenshots show off one of the dungeons.

You can check out the images below. If you want to see more, you can enjoy the announcement trailer and a previous batch of screenshots.

Etrian Odyssey X will be released on August 2nd, 2018 in Japan, exclusively for 3DS. No western release has been announced so far.
