News of an RPG based off George R.R. Martin’s hit series isn’t new (the first announcement was back in November) but today we have learned that there will be a European release, published by Focus Home Interactive.
In conjunction with Cyanide Studio, they will be releasing the title for PS3, Xbox 360, and the PC. The game is being developed on the Unreal Engine 3, and being written with input of Martin himself, so fans shouldn’t worry about a game full of inaccuracies. Focus Home Interactive’s CEO claims the game stays faithful to “the unique ambiance found in George R.R. Martin’s novels”.
As of right now, the game appears to be about 30 hours long. The player takes the role of Mors and Alester along the way. Not just hack-and-slash based, players must think about political power as well as strength of arm.
Current plan has the game being released in early 2012. See a gallery of new images after the cut.
