El Dia announced that Eve Burst Error R, initially released in April 2016 for PS Vita only in Japan, will come to Switch as well. The game will release digitally for 2980 Yen on October 25th, and can already be pre-loaded on the Japanese Nintendo e-shop.

The original Eve: Burst Error, released for PC in 1995, was an eroge which earned a highly positive reputation thanks to the game's story, requiring you to constantly switch between 2 protagonists to solve a case of serial murders. It received an updated release on Sega Saturn in 1997, removing the sexual content, adding some fully animated scenes and partial voice acting, further establishing the game as a classic. It's among the most beloved Adventure games for fans of the genre. (ADV or Adventure games are what games like Eve Burst Error or Phoenix Wright are called in Japan, they're often misnamed as Visual Novels outside Japan. I do call them Visual Novels myself sometimes for simplicity's sake).

The original PC version has been localized in the past, and the Sega Saturn version has been fan translated, but this remaster hasn't left Japan. It's possible that Desire and Doukoku Soshite..., two other classics by El Dia, which recently got PS Vita remasters, will release for Switch in Japan as well.
