Lately CCP has been all about starships as a development focus for EVE Online, trying to make those disappointed by Incarna (that I personally like a lot, at least for it’s potential, but to each their own) happy again.
Today they introduced a new ship class that will join the roster with the winter expansion, the Gallente battlecruiser Talos, originally designed by the user Michael Schierup for a ship design contest on DeviantArt.
A few days ago they showcased a ship of the same class for the Minmatar faction: the Tornado, designed by dreamwa1ker for the same contest.
Both ships will be Tier 3 Battlecruisers and will be able to fit battleship-sized weapons by sacrificing defense, in order to appease young and reckless capsuleers.
