EVE: Valkyrie - Wormholes Update Announced; Coming February 15

CCP Games announced the EVE: Valkyrie – Wormholes update today, which is coming to the game on February 15.

The update adds a new mode called Wormhole, which received the following description:

Each weekend, a new wormhole will open and inside, players will find unique gameplay opportunities that challenge everything they know about being a Valkyrie pilot. From mined control points to Supermissiles and beyond, the combinations are endless. The mysteries of Wormhole space are still largely unknown, with plenty yet for players to discover.

This update also adds the alpha version of a new Leagues feature. To improve their League status, players must earn points by playing competitive multiplayer matches. Players begins at Emerald, but progress their way through the Sapphire and Ruby ranks, ultimately ending up at the coveted Diamond rank. Flight stick support is also being added to the PlayStation VR version of the game. You can read the full list of update changes here.
