Everwild was teased last year as Rare Ltd's new IP, a game that looks tribal, set in a magical looking world where nature looks to reign supreme. During the reveal, we reported on the team behind the title, which has since grown, and it looks as if Rare has plans to grow the team even more.

VGC has run a new analysis on the people working on Everwild, and it has been reported that James Blackham is the lead designer. Blackham, the former Lionhead Studios designer moved from Square Enix last year to join Rare and work on the title. He has previously been the lead technical designer behind Fable Legends as well as a senior scripter for Fable: The Journey.

The full list of the people working on the team can be read over on VGC if you're interested.

It's noted that there are 25 publicly confirmed team members working on Everwild, but it is said to be closer to 50. The company is still pushing for new hires with over 25 job listings available on a permanent basis at their studio in Twycross, UK.

The expanded team no doubt means that the company's hit title Sea of Thieves will continue to be supported during the production of Everwild. Sea of Thieves recently surpassed 10 million players.

We've not heard exactly what Everwild is about, but we are under the impression that it seems to be a third-person adventure of which studio head, Craig Duncan has said, "The Everwild team is focused on building an experience that allows for new ways to play in a natural and magical world".

The game is also confirmed to be heading to Xbox as an exclusive. If Sea of Thieves is anything to go by, we can expect to see it available as an Xbox Play Anywhere title.
