The Upcoming Game Will Have a Mature Theme.
The most discussed aspect of Marvel's new Wolverine title is the age rating. The last Wolverine game, X-Men Origins: Wolverine and the movie Logan were R-rated. Both the videogame and movies turned out to be huge moneymakers even after catering to a mature audience. so, the upcoming game looks to also incorporate that mature appeal. This was further confirmed by the creative director of the game. Brian Horton who replied to a user's question regarding the theme of the game.
An Exclusive Title for the Next-Gen- PS5
The upcoming game will be an exclusive title for the Sony corporation. Moreover, it will be exclusively available on PS5. There has been no information on whether Wolverine will be made available for the PS4 or any other platforms.
Marvel’s Wolverine Game May Take Place in Madripoor

In the small inaugural announcement trailer, the cutscene featured many clues suggesting that the story might take in Madripoor. Many other Marvel TV shows like the Falcon series and Winter Soldier are taking place in the Madripoor universe so we may see the new video taking place in the same universe, similar to its comics counterpart.

Insomniac games have done a terrific job creating a unique and fun combat system for the Spiderman series and since it's being developed by the same studio, Wolverine may borrow some features from the Spiderman animations.
The old game had some unique combat mechanics like eating humans and other gore elements so here's hoping that we get to explore Logan's darker side extensively. The upcoming title may feature such elements in a toned version but whatever it turns out to be, we are excited to explore it.
