Today developer Incendium Games announced that its action adventure horror game Phantom Halls will be crossing over with Sam Raimi's 80's horror film Evil Dead 2 in a brand new update.

As the name suggests, Evil Dead 2 x Phantom Halls will add a number of missions inspired by the parody film. In addition to that, the update will also feature new locations, new enemies, new gameplay mechanics, new traps, and more.

If players want to unlock these missions, all they have to do is select Ash as their character.

Evil Dead 2 x Phantom Halls is set to be released on September 18th, 2017, and will be available completely free of charge.

Incendium Games also released some brand new screenshots, as well as a piece of concept art from the new update. You can check them out at the end of the article.

The game's last update, which was released back in May, was titled Graveyard Shiftand also added a new location, a new enemy, new traps, a new quest, the ability to deflect melee attacks, and a ton of other bug fixes and tweaks.

Phantom Halls is currently a part of Steam's Early Access, and has been since March 13th, 2017. The game is available exclusively on Windows PC for $8.99.
