Bethesda Softworks today released a new trailer for its upcoming third-person survival horror sequel The Evil Within 2.

This new trailer, which lasts two minutes, primarily shows off the updated combat that we have previously seen showcased in other trailers for The Evil Within 2. However, this video perhaps gives us our best look so far at the game's brutal combat, gruesome creatures, and the plethora of weapons that the game's main character Sebastian Castellanos will have at his disposal. Seriously though, there's some weird looking monsters in this trailer.

Our own Jordan Loeffler recently was able to go hands-on with The Evil Within 2 while at PAX West and came away from it quite creeped out. Of course, that could have partially been attributed to the dark room that Bethesda placed Jordan in to demo the game. If you want to see Jordan's extended thoughts on his play session, then be sure to check out his full preview.

If you want to check out the new trailer for yourself, then you can find it at the bottom of the page. Appropriately, The Evil Within 2 will be releasing next month just in time for Halloween on October 13 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
