With a devoted fanbase as diverse as the fighting game community, the annual EVO tournament brings together the most popular titles of the fighting genre for competition, with the full lineup of this year’s EVO 2016 tournament revealed.

The titles in competition for this year’s EVO 2016 were revealed by EVO co-founder Joey Cuellar in a Twitch stream last night, with this year’s roster including two brand new games and a returning favorite from previous tournaments. The full roster for this year’s tournament is below:

  • Street Fighter 5
  • Super Smash Bros. Melee
  • Super Smash Bros. for Wii U
  • Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator
  • Mortal Kombat X
  • Pokkén Tournament
  • Killer Instinct
  • Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3
  • Tekken 7: Fated Retribution

The two new addition for this year’s tournament include Street Fighter V and Pokken Tournament, with SFV replacing Street Fighter IV since its inclusion in 2009, marking a bit of a surprise that the title would be completely replaced.

The Tekken/Pokemon crossover Pokken Tournament is also joining the EVO roster as a debut title this year, while Super Smash Bros. Melee will return to EVO this year following high demand from its fans. New arcade versions of two previous titles will also be making their appearance at EVO 2016 with Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator and Tekken 7 Fated Retribution.

EVO 2016 will take place from July 15 – 17 in Las Vegas.
