The Evo 2017 Reveal Show streamed earlier this evening to announce the games for Evolution 2017. Each game will have the best players from around the world face off head to head for a chance at a cash prize and the ultimate bragging rights.
The 8 fighting games this year will include:
- Street Fighter V
- Super Smash Bros. Melee
- Super Smash Bros. for Wii U
- Tekken 7
Evo debut:
- BlazBlue: Central Fiction
- Guilty Gear Xrd REV 2
- The King of Fighters XIV
- Injustice 2
To add to the list, the convention will allows fans to vote for the ninth game by donating to Make-a-Wish International and submitting their choice.
The game's up for vote are:
- Pokkén Tournament
- Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3
- Killer Instinct
- Mortal Kombat XL
- Skullgirls 2nd Encore
- Super Street Fighter II Turbo
- Nidhogg
- ARMS
- Windjammers
The winning game will be featured as the main event during the arena Finals held on Sunday, and will also have a prize pool of $10,000. The voting will close on February 8.
