The official release date announcement of Exoprimal came from the game's Twitter account. There were questions regarding the game's availability on Xbox in the past couple of months due to the confusing listings. The Microsoft Store did not state Xbox Game Pass for Exoprimal as a possible platform, but it did add Xbox Cloud and console to the game's listing. Now the official announcement has cleared that confusion, as Capcom's anticipated Exoprimal is coming to Xbox Game Pass this July.

Exoprimal depicts a dinosaur-infested world where humanity depends on powerful exosuit-wearing units as the last bulwark of defense. While it seems like it has all the elements to keep dino-slaying fans happy, Exoprimal also boasts having the involvement of Hiroyuki Kobayashi, the producer of one of the most influential survival-horror games of the original PlayStation era, Dino Crisis.

The upcoming third-person shooter allows players to pick one of three main roles and delve into some dinosaur action in several game modes. Alongside Dinosaur Cull, Energy Taker, and Dino Survival game modes, Exoprimal also comes with PvP battles where players can push the boundaries of their exosuits by trying out different builds with Rigs. If you like what you hear, keep in mind that the game will be hosting an open beta period starting on March 17.

The open beta will run until March 19 and take players on a brief journey that also supports cross-platform. Those who want to get their hands on the title before it makes its launch can sign up for the open beta and join other players from Xbox, PlayStation, and Steam.

It is also worth noting that the title offers rewards for those who open their wallets before the full release on July 14. The pre-order rewards of Exoprimal include some sleek skins for the exosuits Witchdoctor, Roadblock, and Deadeye. But if that doesn't cut it, you can also pay the big bucks for the Digital Deluxe version of Exoprimal which comes with a premium battle pass called Survival Pass that includes paid tiers alongside free ones.

Capcom's Xbox Game Pass dino-shooter Exoprimal costs $60 USD, and it is slated to arrive on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Xbox Game Pass. The online team-based dino-shooter has also released a story trailer that offers a glimpse into the game's world.
