Publishers Fun Train have announced that The Exorcist: Legion VR is available today on PlayStation VR with Chapters four and five ready to play!
Publishers Fun Train revealed today that The Exorcist: Legion VR chapters four and five is now available for PlayStation VR. This announcement comes at the right time for fans of horror given that Halloween is right around the corner.
The Exorcist: Legion VR is based on the horrifying story by William Peter Blatty, author of the Exorcist series. In The Exorcist: Legion VR you witness five episodes unfold, which are different each time where you play a detective and investigate some very strange events, naturally with some exorcisms thrown in too – maybe avoid wearing your good shirt in case of pea soup vomit!
In the final chapters, players continue the role as a homicide detective investigating a series of ritualistic murders, including a priest at a local church.
Here is what you can expect in Chapters four and five –
- Chapter 4 – Samaritan – A failed quarantine zone in Haiti has been racked by an unknown plague, and a slew of health worker deaths has led to the collapse of efforts to control the mounting victim toll. What (or who) lies at the heart of the epidemic is for you to uncover!
- Chapter 5 – The Tomb – In this grand finale, players are transported deep into the mountains of Upper Mesopotamia to face the demon Pazuzu where one last confrontation will put everything they have learned to the test. The episode features some unique VR mechanics as well as a powerful and exhilarating climax
Douglas Nabors, CEO of Fun Train had this to say on the final chapters of The Exorcist: Legion VR:
“Fans have been anxiously anticipating the release of these final two episodes and we can’t wait for them to experience the culmination of the chilling story created by Wolf & Wood. Our hope too is that VR horror fans will start from the beginning and experience the entire adventure as one cohesive narrative, discovering nuances and interesting details they may have missed or forgotten. Trust me, it’s even scarier the second time around.”
The Exorcist: Legion VR complete series is available now from the PlayStation Store for $29.99/€24.99. Players can purchase individual chapters for $6.99, as well as the Season Pass for $24.99.
