Exploring Creativity With Disney's Infinity: The Toy Box

Avalanche Software has released a new video, which shows off how Disney Pixar’s Toy Story franchise inspired an epic and interactive Disney world.

The video, which you can view below, shows off different stages of the game’s development, and how the entire Disney universe is being put together in one huge toy box. Players can unlock virtual toys, characters, buildings, weapons, gadgets, and more, and then mix them up LittleBigPlanet style to make their own three dimensional world, explorable with up to four players. Anyone who knows Avalanche Studios knows they excel at crazy open world fun–the Just Cause franchise is proof of that–so Disney Infinity may definitely be a title to check out in a few months.

Disney Infinity is set to release this summer to the PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, Wii U and Nintendo 3DS.

Born and raised in video games and "geek culture," Masoud has been bred off of fantasy worlds his entire life and doesn't see anything wrong with that. He loves RPGs (especially TRPGs), sandbox games, the sci-fi genre, dieselpunk, art deco, and anything that allows him to create. Having graduated from John Jay College with a degree in English and a minor in Creative Writing, Masoud hopes to one day pen the same novels, comics, movies, and video games he enjoys escaping into when the real world gets too boring.
