With the info blowout about Codemasters’ upcoming F1 simulator F1 2013 the development team has become a tad more vocal as well, including Creative Director Steve Hood, that took to Twitter to give a few additional pieces of information and engage in a tad of “friendly” banter.
Pressed by a fan about the poor AI on the previous F1 games (to which I can testify, having reviewed them for two years in a row and having docked points due to it), Hood caught the chance to shift the attention on another prominent racing franchise, Gran Turismo:
@JohnCetti Are you getting our game mixed up with GT?

Banter aside he also mentioned that the AI might indeed see some improvement:
He also denied the possibility of PS Vita and Wii U versions of the game, mentioning that the Vita simply wouldn’t make financial sense, and the game would have to be very different to run on the Wii U.
@Shaki12345 Unfortunately it’d have to be a very different game just to run on the Wii U

It’s understandable that the team simply doesn’t have enough manpower to do a Wii U port. For a moment when Hood mentioned that it’d have to be a “very different game” to be on the console, I thought he could be talking about implementing karts…
