F1 2018 Gets New Details, Official Release Date, and More
Codemasters and Koch Media have officially announced that the next entry in the Formula One franchise, F1 2018, will hit on August 24, 2018.
If you’re a fan of last year’s F1 2017 and you want more Formula One content then you will only have to wait a few more months. Today, developer Codemasters and publisher Koch Media announced that the next entry in the franchise, F1 2018, will be launching around the same time as last year’s title, on August 24, 2018.
Unfortunately, as of the time of this writing, details about the game are scarce, however, it was confirmed that more classic cars will be added than the previous entry and that the career mode will be greatly expanded. Of course, F1 2018 will also feature each and every team, driver, and circuit from the actual 2018 season.
While speaking about the game, Paul Jeal, F1 Franchise Director at Codemasters, had this to say:
“We were delighted by the reception that the highly-acclaimed F1 2017 game received, and are extremely excited to be able to further build on such a strong starting point with F1 2018”
F1 2018 is set to be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC. According to the press release, the game will be playable on Xbox One X, although it’s unknown whether or not that version will receive any enhancements.
