Fable Fortune, the collectible card game set in the Fable universe, had its early access has been delayed to July 25.

The game was previously scheduled to come to PC in Early Access and Xbox One with the Xbox Game Preview on July 11. However, due to “an administration hiccup,” developers Mediatonic and Flaming Fowl Studios aren’t able to launch the Xbox One version of the game next week.

As detailed in a post on the official Fable Fortune blog, the title's delayed rollout was caused by an administration error affecting the Xbox One version. To maintain a simultaneous release across all platforms, all versions are being pushed later into the month.

Luke Borrett, producer for co-developing studio Mediatonic, had this to say:

Due to an unexpected administration hiccup we are unfortunately unable to launch the Xbox One version of Fable Fortune next week and we've made the decision to move the launch date back to July 25th on all platforms.

Although the game is set to officially release later this year, this month's launch allows the public to get hands-on with an in-progress version for all platforms. For those invested in Microsoft's ecosystem, Fable Fortune will also support Play Anywhere – a program which enables cross-platform saves and purchases between Xbox One and Windows 10.

Fable Fortune was recently able to secure additional funding, leading to the Kickstarter campaign being canceled.
