Fable III Site Introduces the Villager Creator

Lionhead has launched a pretty awesome feature on their Fable III site today – it is a villager creator. By using the tool you can create your own villager, designed around the world of the game, of course. While this little web app is pretty cool in itself, what is even cooler is you have the opportunity to see your created villager in-game. Of course, this doesn’t come without a catch. The catch is that you have to pre-order Fable III.

Using the villager creator, you have access to over 2000 different combinations to design your villager, which can be either male or female. The villager will give you a quest in-game and reward you with 1000 gold when all is said and done. According to Lionhead’s site, the villager will also continue to interact with you throughout the rest of the game. What does that mean, you ask? Well, it is described in the video below. You’ll also see, by watching, exactly how much of the character and his/her background you can design.

As far as pre-order bonuses go, this is actually a rather unique one. Now I have to go talk to the people at GameStop because I already pre-ordered before all this was announced, so they sure better have a redemption code for me!
