Facebook Finalises Deal with Oculus, Looking to Reimagine the "Way People Communicate"

Facebook has finished its acquisition of VR creator Oculus, the companies announced today.

As part of the announcement, Facebook has issued a statement emphasising their optimism for the Oculus Rift.

We’re looking forward to an exciting future together, building the next computing platform.

Facebook also noted that with Oculus, they were looking to “[reimagine] the way people communicate.”

Facebook has yet to announce how they intend to use the Oculus to change communication.
