The UK publisher Ghostlight are delivering their very first JRPG game to the Switch digitally this Autumn 2018, so not long to wait at all for fans of Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force, which came to PC last year on Valentines Day.

In case there is any confusion, Ghostlight will publish Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force in Europe and Australia, and Idea Factory International will be releasing the North American version, creating a wonderful partnership from across the pond.

So, what is Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force about for those new to the game? Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force takes place in a land filled with power-imbued weapons known as Furies, the Fencers who wield them are locked in combat to collect as many Furies as possible. The unassuming hero Fang finds himself caught up in their struggle when he pulls a sword from a stone. With up to six characters on the battlefield, enemy-turned-friend party members, and a customizable world; join Fang and his band of Fencers in an epic battle to revive the Goddess or the Vile God.

The Switch version of Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force will contain all the same content and changes that were allocated towards Advent Dark Force on PS4 & PC, it will also have all the DLC included so you, as a gamer, aren't missing out on anything. You will also be able to have six characters on the battlefield at a time, and with new difficulty settings: Easy, Normal, and Hard.

Some of the features in Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force include:

  • In the three stories to play, friends become foes, foes become friends, and, based on your choices, multiple endings can be unlocked!

  • Customize weapons by fusing them with fairies and change dungeons stats through World-Shaping. Even transform with the “Fairize” skill and become stronger in battle!

  • With up to six party members on the battlefield at a time, you can play as all your favorite Fencers!

  • From Amateur to Hell, choose the difficulty level that suits your style!

Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force will be available on the Nintendo eShop autumn 2018 for £29.99/$39.23 which will also include all 25 DLC available in the original PS4 release.
