Koei Tecmo and Gust revealed a new trailer for their upcoming RPG adaptation of Hiro Mashima's Fairy Tail. The trailer basically recaps the info we've learned so far, like how the game will adapt the Grand Magic Games tournament arc and the Tartaros arc, along with some original stories. We also see all the characters revealed as playable so far, and most notably who they will we be up against. We also get a quick look at the turn-based battles and the quest system. You can check out the trailer right below:

The trailer also reveals for the first time Sting Eucliffe, Yukino Agria, Rogue Cheney, and Sherria Blendy. This trailer will be broadcast later this week at Paris Games Week 2019. A demo of Fairy Tail will be playable there as well.

Koei Tecmo recently showed Fairy Tail's first live gameplay, revealing the game is pretty similar to the Atelier series. Overall, it's closer to Atelier Lulua and previous Atelier games than Atelier Ryza, which is pretty different.

Announced in September, Fairy Tail is launching sometime in 2020 on PS4, Switch, and PC via Steam. The game's producer is aware there's a demand for an Xbox One release as well, but it doesn't seem likely to happen for now.
