On today's Fairy Tail RPG stream, Koei Tecmo and Gust finally revealed the game's release date. Fairy Tail for PS4, Switch, and PC, the RPG adaptation of Hiro Mashima's most popular manga, will be available worldwide on March 19, 2020. The worldwide release was confirmed on stream.

Various bonuses in Japan were also announced during the stream. First print copies of the game will include a bonus outfit for Erza. A physical and a digital Limited Edition were also announced in Japan.

The physical limited edition is titled the Guild Box and contains:

  • A copy of the game
  • A B2 poster
  • 3 character 3D cards
  • A set of stickers

The Digital Deluxe Edition contains:

  • A copy of the game
  • Great Magic Games Team Bonus costumes
  • Bonus Lacrima set items
  • A bonus Atelier Ryza costume for Lucy

A third special Limited Edition is also exclusively available on the Japanese Gust Shop. I assume anyone planning to buy that can actually read about it themselves. Mulitple shop specific preorder bonuses in Japan were also announced, so you should check which shop has the thing you like the most if you're planning to import.

Koei Tecmo America and Europe should be detailing the Limited Editions in the west soon.

Hiro Mashima is still working on the game's package art and on the bonus B2 poster included in the physical limited edition. The package art is at the left, and the B2 poster in the physical limited edition at the right.
