The Hiro Mashima fan meeting stream on YouTube announced the anime this September 11. You can find the trailer below at the 6:03:18 timestamp of the stream. The 100 Years Quest anime is coming as part of the Fairy Tail 15th anniversary celebrations.

Fairy Tail is by far the biggest and most popular series by Hiro Mashima, so it's definitely not a surprise to see its sequel is getting an anime as well. Right now, the anime for Mashima's newest series, Edens Zero, is also ongoing. Hiro Mashima's popularity isn't waning anytime soon.

Moreover, Fairy Tail received a JRPG game adaptation by studio Gust and Koei Tecmo last year. Konami is also working on two Edens Zero game adaptations. One is coming to mobile, and the other to consoles. Edens Zero Pocket Galaxy is the title of the mobile game and pre-registration is open. Meanwhile, we might hear more about the console game at Tokyo Game Show 2021, which is starting on September 30.
