Today, during the Dengeki Online special stream for Tokyo Game Show 2018, Nihon Falcom president Toshihiro Kondo shared more details on the collaboration project between his company and Aquaplus, which was teased last week.

First of all, costume swaps between characters were announced in their respective games. Trails of Cold Steel 4‘s Juna will get to wear Kuon’s clothes from Utawarerumono Zan and Utawarerumono Zan’s Nekone will have Trails of Cold Steel 4‘s Altina’s clothes to choose from. They decided on these pairs as Juna and Kuon are both voiced by Nao Toyama and Nekone and Altina are both voiced by Inori Minase.

They’re also planning on releasing a PS4 theme featuring both franchises. Both the alternative costumes and the theme are scheduled to release in October.

Last but not least, the companies are planning to keep the collaboration going in the long run. As they’re both renowned for the excellent music in their games, one of the big projects they want to achieve together is an orchestral concert featuring songs from both the Trails series and the Utawarerumono series.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV: The End of Saga is scheduled to release in Japan on September 27th, exclusively on PS4.

Utawarerumono Zan will also release in Japan on September 27th, on PS4 exclusively.
