Falcom President Would Like to Release His Games on Nintendo Switch

Nihon Falcom's President reveals that the company is open to releasing games for Nintendo's new Switch console.

Nihon Falcom is a developer that needs no introduction to JRPG fans. As The Legend of Heroes and Ys series gain popularity with western gamers, for the moment they’re just on PlayStation consoles and some on PC, but it’s left to be whether the series will appear on the Nintendo Switch or not.

In a recent interview with DualShockers, Nihon Falcom President Toshihiro Kondo discussed his desire to bring the company’s games to the Switch.

Kondo-san began by commenting on the Switch itself:

“The Nintendo Switch is completely a ‘Nintendo machine’, and that’s a really cool thing.”

Afterwards, he went on to express his interest in bringing the studio’s titles to Nintendo’s console:

“Yea, if the opportunity presents itself, I would definitely like to get Falcom games on the Switch.”

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III will launch on September 28 in Japan , exclusively for PS4.
