Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout Stumbles to PC and PS4 on August 4
Fall Guys finally got its release date at today's Devolver Digital Direct. It's coming sooner than you might expect.
Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout took the world by an adorable storm when it was announced last year. The game features cutesy little dudes competing in Takeshi’s Castle-like event to crown the greatest Fall Guy of them all. The wacky levels and silly costumes mix together for one of the most fun-looking games coming in 2020. And, at today’s Devolver Digital Direct, we finally got the official release date.
Fall Guys lets you and up to 59 of your closest friends compete in ridiculous competitions. From silly obstacle course racing to the Fall Guys’ own brand of soccer, the team at Mediatonic has put together something that looks incredibly special. I mean, have you seen all the costumes?
Obviously, 2020 is full of some massive AAA bangers like The Last of Us Part 2 and Cyberpunk 2077. That said since it’s been announced, Fall Guys has been at the top of my most anticipated list. There’s something about how well it translates game shows like It’s a Knockout that has me totally transfixed. The only way it could better is if Mediatonic could get Vic and Kenny from Most Extreme Elimination to record commentary. I would probably explode from happiness.
Anyways, you don’t have to wait much longer to play Fall Guys. The game launches for PC and PS4 on August 4. If you see me in there, make sure to let me win, okay? And, while you wait, make sure to check out of the other awesome announcements coming out of the Devolver Direct today. It was a doozy.
