Fall Guys Gets Reimagined as a GBA Game in This Throwback Fan Art
While Fall Guys is out now on PS4 and PC, this fan art from designer Ryan Kamos shows us what the battle royale game could be like on GBA.
Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, in case you haven’t heard, is currently blowing up across PS4 and PC. The wacky battle royale game that pits 60 players against each other in a series of absurd obstacle courses has taken off in large part thanks to its streaming success, leading to some creative fan art and crossovers of its charming Bean characters. That includes one piece of fan art that managed to recreate the game in the style of classic Game Boy Advance games, which I’d surely love to play.
Over on Twitter, artist Ryan Kamos (also a designer on developer Tropical Puppy’s Fantasy Farming: Orange Season) shared a piece of Fall Guys fan art that reimagines the battle royale game if it were made on the Game Boy Advance. Aside from perfectly replicating the style of GBA games, the fan art also happens to tweak the game to suit being in 2D, in this case being isometric. You can take a look at the fan art below:

Fall Guys released last week on PS4 and PC, and since then the game has been off to a hugely successful start with over 1.5 million players in its first 24 hours. Over 2 million people have purchased and played the game on Steam alone, along with being free on PlayStation Plus this month for subscribers on PS4.
While the game has had some notable server issues over the past two weeks, so far Fall Guys has delivered on offering a unique and incredibly fun take on the battle royale genre. Aside from the GBA-inspired take on the game, you can also check out a series of fan-made Fall Guys skins that we highlighted from around the internet.
