Fall Guys Launches Today on PS4 and PC With a Wacky New Trailer
With the game's release today on PS4 and PC, the launch trailer for Fall Guys shows the fun (and chaos) that waits in the battle royale game.
With its bright colors and fun tone, it’s not a huge surprise that already Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout seems to be making a huge impression out of the gate. Thanks to a pair of hugely successful beta runs and its breakthrough success on Twitch, Fall Guys has built up momentum as one of the most anticipated indie games of the year, with the game now available for everyone to enjoy.
Fall Guys has released a new trailer to coincide with the game’s launch on PS4 and PC today, and the cinematic trailer gives a good sense of what players can expect from the now-released battle royale game. As you can tell, it’s a game that doesn’t take itself too seriously (in a good way), and the trailer shows the fun that awaits in the multiplayer-focused title that draws inspiration from competitive game shows like Takeshi’s Castle and Ninja Warrior.

For those that haven’t heard of the game before, Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is a battle royale game developed by Mediatonic and published by Devolver Digital. The battle royale-style game features 60 players each competing in a series of increasingly wacky and challenging obstacle courses, with the goal being for one player to remain standing at the end of the game.
Having played it at PAX East earlier this year, it’s easy to see how Fall Guys wound up being such a breakout hit with streamers thanks to its fun premise and wacky mini-games. Over the past two weekends it has dominated the charts as one of the most-viewed games on Twitch and built up its momentum heading into launch. If you’re looking forward to playing the game for yourself you can pick it up now over on Steam, and the game is available for free this month for PlayStation Plus subscribers.
