Following community feedback, it seems as if Mediatonic will be making those elusive Crowns in Fall Guys easier to earn when Season 2 finally arrives. The announcement comes directly from Twitter and also pokes a dig at Twitch streamer TimTheTatMan who became pure entertainment in trying to secure his first-ever win.Fall Guys contains two types of in-game currencies. One is Kudos, which is awarded through play but can also be purchased with real-world money. The other is Crowns, which can be either unlocked at specific tiers on the free Battle Pass or earned by winning a game. However, since the game's launch, earning those Crowns has been incredibly tiring and somewhat difficult. This is particularly frustrating given how special limited-time skins keep appearing. Some of them, such as the Gris outfit came in 2 parts for 5 Crowns each.Mediatonic says that it has heard the community, and in Season 2, players can expect to see "over 600%" more Crowns in the game's rewards. How this comes into play is unclear, perhaps there will be more rewards for tiers, or perhaps rewards for specific in-game challenges. Who knows!?

In addition, it's said that the studio has come up with a "new way to reward our most competitive players that will hit the game beyond Season 2". There also seems to be an update for nameplates, meaning that we could finally see some decent representation of character names.

Fall Guys is available on PC and PS4. It's currently in its first season but Season 2 is on the way and will introduce lots of new content, including new levels to fall over.
