To say that Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout has been a success so far is a bit of an understatement. The indie battle royale title, which debuted last week on PS4 and PC, has been a breakout success thanks to its popular beta and become a hit with Twitch streamers. Though the game is currently only available on two platforms for now, developer Mediatonic seems to be eyeing the chance to bring the hit party game to other systems in the future.

Over on the game's official support forums, developer Mediatonic shared some insight on Fall Guys and whether we'll see the game on other platforms in the future. Specifically, in response to whether the game could come to Xbox One, Switch, and "other platforms," Mediatonic detailed that the studio would "love to bring the game to other platforms further down the line," depending on fan demand. Given that Fall Guys has already reached over 2 million players on Steam alone (and is currently free this month for PlayStation Plus subscribers), it won't exactly be a huge surprise if we do end up seeing the game make its way to new platforms.

Our senior staff writer Ricky Frech reviewed Fall Guys after its initial launch last week, and overall he loved the game's fresh take on the battle royale genre. Having played a bunch of the game myself over the past week, it's easy to see how Fall Guys has become such a big hit out of the gate thanks to its charming premise and fun multiplayer gameplay. Despite the game's issues at launch--primarily with its servers and getting into games--Mediatonic already seems to be addressing its technical issues and planning for long-term support and updates for the game after its launch.

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is available now on PS4 and PC.
