We're living in a strange timeline. A virus is spreading across the world, people are being forced to work from home, and the threat of lockdown bears down on some areas. However, stores have been struggling to keep up with the increased demand for toilet rolls as people flock to every store available and stockpile. As a satirical take on the real-world situation, a mod for the PC version of Fallout 4 has surfaced and introduces toilet rolls.

Created by Oynlen DeathByKitty, the toilet rolls replace two models: a Mr Handy Post-War Box, and the Laboratory Beaker. The one becomes a big pack of toilet rolls, while the other becomes a singular roll. A perfect way of hoarding as much as you can across the post-apocalyptic wasteland.

The mod itself contains two files but has also been given an update that introduces the exact same toilet paper rolls, but in 4K quality. So not only do they become the new face of wealth in the new virus infested world, but they look damn good too.

The mod isn't without some lore. Similarly to the real-world, a new and dangerous virus has made itself known, and Super Duper Mart shelves have become barren. Players with the mod installed can now jump into Fallout 4 and feel proud that they have a decent supply of toilet paper in the virtual world when in reality the soft, velvety rolls are becoming sparse.

You can check out some of the images on the official mod page, including one of a naked character squatting in the bushes with a censored block over their buttocks. You know you want to. Now go get some toilet paper and give it to the Animal Crossing: New Horizons players.

Fallout 4 is available for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, however, the mod is only supported for PC versions of the game.
