Fallout 4’s Improved Survival Mode to Hit Steam in Beta Form Next Week

Remember when Bethesda was going on last month about how they would be overhauling the survival play mode of their hit RPG Fallout 4?

Well, PC players will get to take the mode for a spin in a beta test via Steam sometime next week. This was confirmed earlier on Bethesda Game Studios’ official Twitter page:

Of the survival mode, developer Todd Howard last month said:

We’re doing things like you can’t save, it only saves your game when you sleep. You can’t fast travel. There’re all of these diseases. We’re trying it all. It’s a different experience. We’re not trying to make it a ton harder. It’s harder because you’re doing more things. We want the combat to feel different, as opposed to just being a bullet sponge

Hype is real for the new game-play mode.
