Today Famitsu published an article revealing the creation of a brand new studio named TOO KYO Games.

The article includes a video in which Square Enix Producer (known for Dragon Quest and Nier Automata) teases the identity of a famous game developer who is forming TOO KYO Games. It actually appears that Saito-san isn’t directly involved, but is simply the first of a series of developers that are well acquainted with the developer in question.

A Twitter account has also been launched, while the official website isn’t up yet.

The reveal of the identity of the famous developer will come in a livestream on Tuesday (September 11th), and the Twitter account mentions that the name is a play on words meaning “too crazy,” hinting that the studio is about bringing crazy games, anime, and entertainment from Tokyo to the world.

At the moment no further indication about the developer has been provided, but I guess that if we’ll see more videos starring PlatinumGames’ Takahisa Taura and Composer Keiichi Okabe, then we can possibly expect a certain masked adorable madman to reveal himself on Tuesday.  Spoiler: I believe that it’s NieR and Drakengard director Yoko Taro, but it’s just a hunch. The style of the announcement definitely fits.

We’ll have to wait and see if I’m right.
