The Last of Us fan and Motion Designer, Ivanov, creates a stunning visual of various characters from The Last of Us Part 2 in a short video.

From 2D to 3D, traditional to digital, fans of major video game franchises never cease to create some incredible art. Able to bring games to life in new portrayals and styles, fan artists keep franchises alive by pulling players back into the world of the game.

It's no small wonder then when fan artists capture the real spirit and heart of a game, and 3D Motion Designer Denis Ivanov shows how it's done with his The Last of Us 3D Motion Video.

THE LAST OF US 3D MOTION VIDEO

Ivanov is a 3D Motion Designer, and he recently created this fan clip for a Motion Design Course by Isaev Workshop. It features stunning visuals of various characters from The Last of Us Part 2, Naughty Dog's "Game of the Year" action-adventure.

Specifically, the trailer-like video sweeps across gorgeously textured game objects and pans across detailed environments. Short and sweet, it's a unique fan video that creatively combines Naughty Dog's visual style with energetic motion and a fluid pace.

Even more impressively, Ivanov fully textured, animated, and edited the character and object models himself. He stated that The Last of Us 3D motion video took a lengthy 1.5 months, and the dedication to the craft truly shows. The artist went through several 3D animation runs and applied visual layers, resulting in a fine-tuned 3D piece of art.
