Fan Support May Bring Trophies to Valkyria Chronicles

Valkyria Chronicles was one of the best games that no one played last year.  It was released in the midst of the jam packed fall gaming season and flew under most people’s radar.  It also came out before trophies were required by Sony to be present in any PS3 title released.  Now, according to this article on, Sega is considering adding trophy support to the game, nearly a year after release.

Assistant Community Manager for Sega of America, Aaron Webber, is quoted as saying, “If you do want to see trophies (and I know that’s a lot of you here), then please do keep an eye out. I’d like to organize all of your feedback together so I can show some people here at SEGA just how many fans out there want them. Numbers speak loudest!”

So, are you interested in seeing trophies in Valkyria Chronicles?  I would play the game through again if they added trophies, that’s for sure.  I might even buy the DLC this time around.  In fact, I’ll guarantee I’d buy the DLC on a second play-through, considering I finished the game the first time before the DLC was available.  The easiest way to let Sega know your feelings on the matter is to drop them a line via their Twitter @Sega.  Here’s one shout out for trophies in this great RPG!
