Ubisoft made a surprising turn by announcing its upcoming sequel Far Cry 4 the other week during an earnings call with investors, rather than saving the announcement for E3 in two weeks. On another note, details for the game's Season Pass were also revealed early, according to a listing posted on GameStop.

The GameStop listing for the Season Pass of Far Cry 4 shows that the Pass will be available the same day as release for the game, November 18th, 2014, and will retail for $29.99 on almost all available platforms (PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One, leaving out the PC version).

While specific content has not yet been revealed on what content will be included within the Season Pass, typically content for other Ubisoft titles (such as those for the Assassin's Creed series or previous Far Cry games) include a variety of new story/mission content, exclusive weapons/equipment, and other items.

Far Cry 4 releases for PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, and PC on November 18th, 2014.
