Samsung’s Latest Promotion Includes a Free Copy of Far Cry 5 on Select SSDs

Samsung and Ubisoft are partnering up to provide free copies of Far Cry 5 to those who buy select Samsung solid-state drives now until late next month.

It’s been two days since Ubisoft’s highly anticipated open-world title Far Cry 5 was released. As gamers indulge on the latest installment from the Far Cry franchise, PC gamers who are looking to upgrade their SSD and snag a copy of the game (if they have not already) should consider checking out Samsung’s current promotion.

According to the press release, now until Saturday, April 28, if you buy a particular Samsung solid state drive, you will receive a free (digital) copy of Far Cry 5 Standard Edition.  Several SSD’s eligibles for this promotion include the Portable SSD T5 1TB, SSD 860 EVO 2.5 SATA III 1TB, and the SSD 860 PRO 2.5 SATA III 1TB to name a few.

Of course, this is not the first time, Ubisoft has partnered with a hardware company to help promote Far Cry 5. Gaming peripheral manufacturer, Corsair also has a unique promotion going on; PC gamers who spend at least $150 on select Corsair products will also a receive a voucher for a digital copy of Far Cry 5 Standard Edition as well.
