This week, Ubisoft has released a live-action trailer for its highly anticipated action title Far Cry 5, the new trailer viewers more insight on the game's antagonist Father Joseph.

The less than three-minute-long trailer "Baptism" starts off with leade of Eden's Gate baptizing new members of the cult, it then cuts to a younger version of Joseph Seed and his friendship with Paster Jerome, a former Gulf War veteran who served as the Pastor for Hope County for fifteen years before he was forfeited his position.

The trailer shows Joseph's upbringings and his rise to power, which ultimately led to Eden's Gate obtaining complete control of the town and nearly beaten Jerome to death. Of course, anyone who has been following Far Cry 5 will know that Jerome survived the beating and eventually joins the Resistance.

While the trailer does not provide any new information to the plot itself, one thing for sure is that the video accurately provides the ominous mood and accurately depicts this malicious cult.
