Today, Ubisoft's latest addition to its open-world shooter Far Cry 5 got a new trailer — which can be seen below — showcasing some of the allies you will fight with in Hope County.

The Project at Eden's Gate has got its hold on Hope County. In order to escape, you will need to make allies out of the local resistance. Liberating a region will fill up the resistance meter that will affect the number of allies that will fight alongside you as you attempt to foil the Project's plans.

Prior to Far Cry 5's official announcement, a number of teaser trailers and the game's key art featuring the game's rural Montana landscape were revealed. Since then plenty of details have been unearthed about the game's main characters, the cult known as The Project at Eden's Gate, its story, and gameplay elements.

Recently, Ubisoft announced that three of its major titles would be getting delayed; this included Far Cry 5, The Crew 2, and an unannounced franchise game. The game was originally slated for a February 27, 2018 release.

Far Cry 5 is expected to launch on March 27, 2018 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. You can check out our preview to see how we feel about the game so far.
