After a long wait, we finally got to see some Far Cry 6 gameplay. If that wasn't enough, we also got a release date for the game and two brand new trailers — one revealing the game’s story and characters; and the other deep-diving into gameplay with new weapons.

The Far Cry 6 gameplay we got to see was pretty exciting, especially the weapons and arsenals in the game. There were some new miniguns made out of motorcycle engines, missile-firing backpacks, and even a CD launcher gun that kills people by shooting CDs at them with music playing in the background.

We also got to see the game’s protagonist, Dani Rojas, who can be played as either a male or female player. However, in the trailers, Dani is featured as a woman.

Far Cry 6: Multiplayer or Co-op?

Now let's address the most important question: will Far Cry 6 have co-op or multiplayer modes?

Well, Far Cry 6 is going to have a two-player co-op mode. Apart from that, you can, of course, play it in solo mode.

Unfortunately, outside of the co-op mode, Far Cry 6 won't have any further multiplayer functionality, so no PVP deathmatches with everybody's favourite villains.

What is the Game's official Release Date

Far Cry 6 will release very soon, as it's dropping on October 7, 2021, on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Stadia, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Amazon Luna, and Windows PC (exclusively on both the Epic Games Store and the Ubisoft Store).

Keep an eye on DualShockers' as we'll likely have plenty of coverage on the game following its release including guides to help you out!
