Today Type Moon announced a new game of the Fate series, and it’s a quite special one, titled Fate/Grand Order VR Featuring Mashu Kyrielight.

The game will be released for PlayStation VR in Japan this year, and it puts Shielder class servant Mashu Kyrielight in the spotlight.

The game is in development at DELiGHTWORKS in collaboration with Sony Interactive Entertainment, and it will come with its own unique story, different from the Fate/Grand Order  mobile game. The genre is defined “Fate VR Drama”

While it doesn’t show gameplay, you can check out the first trailer below, alongside the key artwork starring Mashu.

It’s certainly an interesting twist for the Fate series, and we’ll have to see if it’ll ever be localized. For now, obviously, there no information about that.

Without further ado, I leave you with the trailer and artwork.
