Given the success of Fate/Grand Order on mobile platforms, many might have been wondering why no one thought of a console release (besides the upcoming PlayStation VR game).

Well, another Fate/Grand Order game is coming, and it still isn't on consoles. As a matter of fact, it's an arcade game.

The new title was announced by Type-Moon during the Fate/Grand Order Fes 2017, which is currently going on at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba, near Tokyo.

Now that the same feelings generated by the announcement of Dissidia Final Fantasy a while ago have sunk in, let's make them worse by watching the honestly impressive trailer at the bottom of the post. Keep in mind that at the moment it's fairly unclear whether this is representative of gameplay, but it does indeed appear to be something similar to Dissidia.

The game is defined as a "summoned hero team battle" title, and will release in the Japanaese arcades in 2018.

Not much else is known at the moment, besides the fact that it's a developed in collaboration between Fate/Grand Order developer Delightworks and Sega Interactive.

The mobile Fate/Grand Order game has recently been released in the west, and if you want to learn more, you can check out our interview with Creative Director Yosuke Shiokawa.
