Since its debut in 2012, Geek & Sundry, the gaming-oriented YouTube channel created by actress Felicia Day, has generated hundreds of videos and over a million subscribers, with its variety of Let's Play videos, features, and series focused on video games and tabletop gaming. Luckily, big things, even "Legendary" things maybe, are in store for the channel's future.

Reports detail that Geek & Sundry has been acquired by film production company Legendary Entertainment, producers of films such as InceptionMan of Steel, and the recently-released Godzilla. Legendary president Bruce Rosenblum mentioned that the purchase of Geek & Sundry was part of the company's effort to expand its horizons "beyond traditional media platforms," with Felicia Day and other hosts, such as Wil Wheaton, to produce original shows for both TV and other digital platforms.
