Epic Games is continuing to give away new free games every week over on the Epic Games Store and next week's title joining the rotation is an indie classic.

Fez will officially be landing on the storefront next week and will be free from August 22 until the following week on August 29. If you're not familiar with Fez, it originally launched in 2013 from Polytron and is a game where you rotate the world around you to solve puzzles and navigate through each level. Fez was well received when it first came out and has since come to a variety of other platforms over the years. A potential sequel to Fez was later cancelled by the game's creator Phil Fish after he got into some heated arguments with some on the Internet.

If you're looking for a great puzzle game and somehow haven't played Fez already, I'd really recommend giving it a shot. It's been quite a few years since I played it on my own PS Vita (RIP) but I have fond memories from my time with it. While I eventually had to consult a guide to help get me through some of the more difficult parts of the game (yes, I'm a scrub) it largely is an accessible experience that is still incredibly unique to this day.

Until Fez drops, be sure to head over to the Epic Games Store and snag this week's free games, Hyper Light Drifter and Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden, while they're still available.
