For those of you who still play Final Fantasy XI and are eagerly awaiting the game's newest expansion, Seekers of Adoulin, a new article placed on the PlayOnline website, detailing the history of the Adoulinian(?) continent and its people.

The nation is ruled by a council, rather than by a monarch, religious leader, or president. The title of Grand Chancellor is held by Ygnas S. Adoulin, but all decisions are decided by a vote of the majority. Adoulin citizens are made up mostly of Humes (35%), the "common" language (i.e. English/Japanese) is most prevalent, and there are five different religions worshiped by the people (three of which believe in Altana). The capital city contains nine major historical landmarks.

Final Fantasy XI: Seekers of Adoulin will be published by Square Enix on March 26th, 2013 for the PlayStation 2 (Japan only), Xbox 360, and PC. It will be the final officially licensed PlayStation 2 game.
