FFXIV Housing Lottery System Will Be Fixed in a Maintenance Sometime After Patch 6.1

In a letter by Naoki Yoshida, Director and Producer of Final Fantasy XIV, he confirmed that the team is aware of the Housing Lottery System and is now working on possible fixes to wipe out the issues.

Yoshida made it clear that Patch 6.11 will not include any fixes for the Housing Lottery System, which means this update will be out as scheduled. The developers are actually planning to launch the Housing Lottery System in separate maintenance sometime after Patch 6.11. The exact release date is yet to be revealed.

Furthermore, Yoshida revealed that the maintenance for Patch 6.11 will include a temporary suspension of plot purchases and relocation for all players, including winners of the recent lottery. The suspension will be continued until the fixes for the Housing Lottery System arrives. So, all players are advised to finalize their winning claims or relocation plans before April 26, when Patch 6.11 will be launched.

Final Fantasy XIV is now available on PS4, PS5, and PC. You can purchase it digitally from PS Store or Steam.
