During today's Nintendo Direct, EA and Nintendo announced that FIFA 18 for the Nintendo Switch would be releasing alongside the other versions of the game on September 29.

In case you didn't know, the game's cover star is Christiano Ronaldo of Real Madrid. The Switch version of FIFA 18 supports most of the systems unique controller options, and will include the staple FIFA Ultimate Team, Kick Off, Career, and Local Seasons modes. The PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game have a story mode, The Journey: Hunter Returns, that is not present in the Switch version, but you can learn more about that through this previous trailer.

FIFA 18 for Nintendo Switch can be played both docked and in handheld mode, and will display in 1080p and 720p undocked and docked, respectively.
